penny for your thoughts, 2 cents for mine

here i go being a curious monkey again…
so, let me get this straight…you give me advice or tell me your thoughts and that’s when you want to give me your 2 cents. - hell, why not. ok.
now i’m sitting around by myself thinking and you come and offer me 1 cent (a penny) for my thoughts. wft?
so are your thoughts worth more to you than mine? or are you paying more to speak because you just like being in the spotlight? and my thoughts are only worth a penny to you? what are you some kind of cheap bastard or something? i wasn’t even trying to tell you something, i was just thinking to myself and you come over trying to get a bargain on my thoughts. you can’t even spare one more extra penny to make my thoughts equally priced? my thoughts may be just as insightful as yours, if not more.
but i guess you’ll never know…
