Storyline

Plot Summary: |
Recently single well-off Laura Henderson is at a trifle of a work in inter-war London.
On a whim she buys the derelict Windmill theatre in the City district and persuades booking agent Vivian Van Damm to run it, despite the fact the two don’t seem to get on the least bit.
Though their idea of a non-stop variety is ab initio a success, other theatres copy it and disaster looms.
Laura suggests they put nudes in the show, simply Van Damm points out that the Lord Chamberlain, who licenses live shows in United kingdom of great britain and northern ireland, is likely to have thing to say about this.
As luck would have it Mrs Henderson is friends with him.
